Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes David Oxamendi as Senior Counsel in the New York office. He joins the firm's Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group.
Oxamendi focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation matters, with particular emphasis on consumer and industrial product liability and mass torts, construction litigation, contract disputes, enforcing employment and non-compete agreements, and insurance coverage. He has extensive experience in all phases of civil litigation from depositions to appeals, including appearing before appellate courts and serving as trial counsel in courts throughout New York State.
Oxamendi also previously served as coordinating counsel for a product equipment manufacturer at his prior firm, supervising local counsel in various states and executing litigation strategy.
Oxamendi is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, the New York City Bar, The LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York, and serves as a Board Member with the Cuban American Alliance for Leadership & Education.
Oxamendi earned his law degree from Florida State University College of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Florida International University.
