Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani San Francisco Partner Lisa Cappelluti presented “Navigating the Right to Repair Laws: Opportunities for Failures and Strategies for Success,” at the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance ("CLM") Construction Conference on September 30, 2020. This event was held virtually.
The panel addressed several key aspects for consideration in resolution of pre-litigation disputes in conjunction with presentation of repair solutions with both residential and commercial projects. The presentation also examined the benefits and challenges of these types of resolution approaches from the contractor, carrier, risk manager and insurance coverage perspectives including the view from the carrier, coverage counsel and defense counsel tips on handling these types of construction claim issues.
The conference covered all aspects of insurance, risk, and claims management aspects of the insurance related to the construction industry.
Cappelluti is a member of the Construction practice group. Her practice emphasizes the representation of developers and general contractors in construction disputes and contract consultations. She has represented clients in a wide variety of cases, for both residential and commercial construction projects.
