Stacy L. Moon, senior counsel in the firm’s Birmingham office, has been named to the University of Montevallo National Alumni Association Board Of Directors. Moon will serve a two-year term, beginning in February 2020.
Moon has more than 20 years of experience in defense litigation, including commercial, construction, and employment litigation. Moon is a 1990 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Montevallo and has been active in the Tennessee Valley Area University of Montevallo alumni group for a number of years. Moon is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.
The University of Montevallo National Alumni Association, organized in 1902, is the primary contact for Montevallo alumni with their alma mater. The Association’s mission is to “enhance the linkage between the alumni and the University, encourage members’ active participation in the Association and their commitment to the mission of the institution, build financial support for the Association and the University, and promote the University of Montevallo as a vital part of Alabama’s future.
