Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Atlanta Senior Counsel, Cecily McLeod, will moderate a conversation with Global Head of Corporate Engagement and President of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, Asahi Pompey, on the One Million Black Women Initiative on Tuesday, April 20 at 12 p.m. Eastern.
Their conversation will explore Goldman Sachs’ pledge to commit $10 billion in direct investment capital and $100 million in philanthropic capital over the next decade in the One Million Black Women Initiative. This initiative will address the dual disproportionate gender and racial biases that Black women have faced for generations. These two leaders will discuss how this first-of-its-kind investment will impact the lives of at least one million Black women by 2030.
McLeod is senior counsel in the firm's Atlanta office and has a diverse national litigation practice that focuses on commercial litigation, professional negligence and labor and employment. She has substantive experience in all types of dispute resolution forums including mediation, specialized government contract tribunals, state, federal and international arbitration, and state, federal and international litigation.
