Joshua joins the Las Vegas office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He litigates a wide variety of cases in both state and federal courts. Joshua represents businesses in virtually any manner of commercial dispute in litigation- including, but not limited to contract claims, privacy lawsuits, defamation, false light, and other business-related torts. In the area of consumer protection litigation, he represents businesses and individuals in litigated matters involving credit, debt and/or financing disputes, among other things. He also has extensive prior experience litigating employment law matters (Title VII [Civil Rights Act of 1964] discrimination, retaliation, unpaid wages, Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA), etc.) at the federal trial court level, and continues to represent businesses in the defense of such actions. Joshua earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and his B.A. from West Virginia University.
Alan joins the San Diego office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. He defends employers against claims such as wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and wage disputes among other things. Alan earned his J.D. from Seattle University and his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.
Elizabeth joins the Chicago office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. She focuses her practice on the representation of individuals, corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and municipalities throughout all stages of complex civil litigation. Her practice consists of a broad range of tort, commercial, and employment matters in state and federal courts nationwide. She has successfully litigated cases from their inception through trial and frequently resolves cases by way of mediation, arbitration, and dispositive motion practice. Elizabeth earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and her B.A. from Northern Illinois University.
Vivian joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She has over 15 years of experience in defending and counseling business clients in a variety of complex areas including personal injury, products liability, premises liability, trade libel, false advertising, commercial law, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, insurance bad faith, and breach of contract. Vivian earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Davis.
Jenna joins the Sacramento office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She represents employers in employment and traditional labor law matters. Jenna earned her J.D. from San Joaquin College of Law and her B.S. from California State University Fresno.
Marcol joins the Atlanta office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Marcol earned his J.D. from The University of Georgia School of Law and his B.B.A. from The University of Georgia.
Taylor joins the Dallas office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. Her focuses include defending corporations in a variety of product liability, toxic tort, and environmental litigation matters involving exposure to asbestos, talcum powder, and various chemicals. She is involved in all phases of litigation including discovery, drafting motions, and trial preparation. Taylor earned her J.D. from the University of Iowa and her B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa.
Alexander joins the Ontario office as a member of the Employment Law and Environmental/Toxic Tort practice groups. He has a diverse litigation practice which includes transportation law, employment law, wage and hour misclassification defense, PAGA matters, Labor Commissioner hearings, business litigation, provisional remedies and attachment, class action defense and CAFA, and breach of contract matters. He has experience in complex litigation in both federal and state court, as well as ADR proceedings. His transactional experience includes business entity formation and dissolution and drafting key contracts, and arbitration agreement drafting. In addition, he has experience in general business litigation, real estate litigation, commercial landlord/tenant litigation, fraud litigation, corporate entity dissolution litigation, privacy breach litigation, and securities regulatory compliance and SEC investigations. Alexander earned his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Anthony joins the Dallas office as a member of the Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups. He handles a wide variety of litigation matters for clients across the country at both the state and federal level, including complex commercial disputes, class actions, employment disputes and professional liability defense, intellectual property disputes, franchising litigation, and product and premises liability. He has tried numerous cases to judges and juries, and handled patent disputes in federal district court, before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and before the International Trade Commission. Anthony earned his J.D. from the University of Texas Law School and his B.A. from the University of Texas.
Esmerelda joins the Los Angeles office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Esmerelda earned her LL.M. from USC Gould School of Law and her LL.B. from Shanghai Business School.
Jenny joins the Hartford office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. She focuses her practice on defending corporations in complex liability and toxic tort litigation. She has developed a deep knowledge base in the mass tort arena through her experience representing corporations involved in talc and asbestos litigation, toxic tort litigation, and other complex cases in multiple jurisdictions. Jenny earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Ivan joins the Chicago office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. Ivan earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his B.A. from Wabash College.
John joins the Los Angeles office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. He has substantive expertise in labor, employment, professional liability and general litigation. His work includes litigation on wrongful termination, retaliation, employment discrimination, wage and hour and harassment claims. He streamlines litigation by employing results driven, cost-effective and innovative big picture strategy from the outset of litigation. John earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and his B.A. from the University of California, Riverside.
Aris joins the Honolulu office as a member of the Construction practice group. Aris earned his J.D. from the University of Hawai?i at Manoa William S. Richardson School of Law and his B.A. from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
Jeremy joins the Minneapolis office as a member of the Insurance practice group. Jeremy earned his J.D. from William S. Boyd School of Law and his B.S. from the University of Nevada-Reno.
Rachel joins the Alexandria office as a member of the Commercial Litigation and Advertising & E-Commerce practice groups. Rachel earned her J.D. and B.A. from Wake Forest University.
Racquel joins the Miami office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She represents clients in class actions and other federal and state litigation, including breach of contract actions, commercial litigation, and consumer protection litigation, including Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, False and Deceptive Trade Practices Act, and the Florida Credit Collections Practices Act. Her practice also focuses on complex litigation in areas of employment law, representing corporate clients in breach of contract, harassment, wage-and-hour, leaves and benefits, non-competition, accessibility disputes, torts and other employment matters. Racquel earned her J.D. from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Florida.
Daryl joins the Phoenix office as a member of the Commercial Litigation, Insurance, and Estate & Trust Litigation practice group. Daryl earned his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law and his B.A. from Western Washington University.
Jenay joins the Los Angeles office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. Her practice primarily focuses on complex wage and hour disputes, including class actions and PAGA representative actions. Her work also includes litigation on wrongful termination, retaliation, employment discrimination and harassment claims. Prior to joining the firm, Jenay worked at a Los Angeles firm that aggressively litigated wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions in state and federal courts. Jenay earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School and her B.A. from Trinity Washington University.
