Katherine Musbach, partner in the firm’s Chicago office, will be presenting “Adjusting Social Engineering and E-mail-Related Claims: Where We Are and Where the Law Is Going” with Adam Brinkley of Berkley Financial Specialists at the American Bar Association’s ("ABA") Fidelity & Surety Fall Conference, which will be held in New York on November 11–12, 2021. The presentation is based on their article of the same title, which explores the coverage issues and recovery opportunities implicated by e-mail based social engineering claims.
The Fidelity & Surety Law Conference is presented by the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section ("TIPS") Fidelity and Surety Law Committee ("FSLC"). The committee is the leading intellectual and legal resource for the surety and fidelity insurance industries. Because the committee’s membership, authors and presenters include leading surety and fidelity company professionals, outside counsel, and independent consultants, the FSLC offers its members professional development and networking opportunities.
Musbach is a member of the firm’s Insurance and Technology Litigation teams, and is admitted to practice in Illinois, California, and Michigan.
