Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani is pleased to announce Paul Caleo has joined the firm as a Partner in the firm’s San Francisco and Oakland offices. Joining Caleo are Senior Counsel Katrina Durek and Lynn Rivera, and Associates Dustin Cameron, Emily Genge, and Mark Heisey.

Caleo has tried more than 45 cases before juries during his 35-year career. His substantial experience involves a range of issues including complex tort, personal injury and large loss cases involving claims of products liability, premises liability, government and public entity defense, construction site accidents, and trucking/motor carrier accidents. He also has a focus in the defense of claims of traumatic brain injury (TBI). Caleo is a member of the San Francisco Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and has successfully tried to verdict large loss/high risk personal injury cases in what are regarded as some of the most defendant hostile and plaintiff friendly venues in the country.
Caleo is rated AV-Preeminent, the highest available rating in Legal Ability and Ethics from Martindale-Hubbell. In addition to his membership in ABOTA, Caleo is a member of Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), Defense Research Institute ("DRI), Housing Authority Defense Attorneys (HADA), National Retail & Restaurant Defense Association (NRRDA), National Retail Federation (NRF), and Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS). He is licensed in practice in California and Australia.
Those joining Caleo will also practice in the firm’s Tort & Product Liability practice group. Cameron, Genge and Heisey will be based in the firm’s Bay Area offices, Durek joins the firm’s Portland, Oregon office, and Rivera joins the firm’s recently opened Reno, Nevada office.
