Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Hartford associate Sarah Thompson authored "Agency Decision Making and Secret Science," published in the June 2021 edition of For the Defense magazine. The article examines the importance of procedure in administrative law, via analysis of the ongoing debate surrounding an agency’s reliance on “Secret Science” in its rulemaking process. Thompson co-authored the article with Michael Hale DeShazo.
Thompson is a member of the Product & General and Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group.She practices in the areas of Environmental Law, Products Liability, and Toxic and Mass Torts. She has extensive experience representing clients on environmental matters, including wetlands use and permitting issues, as well as significant experience defending energy companies in workplace exposure litigation.
