Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Seattle partner Sarah Turner presented “Reflections on COVID-19 – The ‘New Normal’ and COVID’s Impact on Employers,” for the Idaho Petroleum Marketers Association on Thursday, August 5.
The presentation reflected on the past seventeen months, addressed current issues including vaccinations, mask mandates, and the Delta variant, and discussed how employers should approach a return to the workplace not by attempting to “return to normal” but instead focusing on a new version of employment settings.
Turner is a partner with the Employment and Cannabis practice groups in the Seattle and Portland office of Gordon & Rees. She litigates in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Her practice also includes counseling, training, and representing clients on a broad range of employment law issues, including hiring, review, and termination procedures, workplace investigations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour law.
