Virginia Trunkes to Present at Construction Financial Management Association’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani New York construction partner, Virginia Trunkes, will co-present ”Where You Stand Depends on Where You Sit: Different Perspectives on Construction Disputes,” on Monday, September 20 at 4 p.m. Eastern as part of Construction Financial Management Association’s 21st annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference.

Using a series of hypotheticals, this session will explore the different viewpoints a contractor, subcontractor and owner will have looking at the same issue. The discussion will then explore what contractual remedies exist and whether, from a practical standpoint, they should be exercised. Along with Trunkes, panelists include Thomas Tripodianos of Welby Brady & Greenblatt LLP and Sushmita Roy of The LiRo Group.

Trunkes represents developers, health care providers, apartment building, brownstone and condominium unit owners, cooperative boards of directors, and other commercial property owners, as well as construction managers, contractors and subcontractors, in negotiating their construction and design services contracts and adjacent-owner license access agreements. With more than two decades of experience handling complex litigation and appellate practice, she counsels her clients to appreciate, navigate and overcome the obstacles inherent in construction projects and their impact on the parties’ legal positions.

The Construction Financial Management Association (“CFMA”) is the primary resource for construction financial expertise and the only nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the educational needs of today's construction financial professionals.
