Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Philadelphia Senior Counsel Alexander Brown has been selected Volunteer Attorney of the Year by Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts ("PVLA"). PVLA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) legal services organization committed to empowering Philadelphia’s low income artists and small budget arts organizations.
PVLA will honor the two Volunteer Attorneys of the Year, Alexander Brown of Gordon & Rees and Charles Hsu of Dechert LLP with a ceremony and fundraising event on June 1. Brown will be honored for his diligence and commitment to his pro bono clients.
His practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation and entertainment law, with a particular emphasis on insurance coverage matters and business disputes. Brown represents clients ranging from production companies and multi-billion dollar corporations to individual artists and musicians in matters involving television and film rights, music rights, publishing rights and likeness rights.
