Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Samuel G. (“Bo”) Thompson, Jr. as a Partner in the firm’s Raleigh office. He is a North Carolina native whose practice areas include professional liability defense, health care, agribusiness and toxic tort law, privacy & data security, products liability, and general liability matters. He has experience in all phases of litigation from pre-suit claims through trial.
Mr. Thompson has nearly two decades of experience defending health care professionals, their practices, hospitals, and other health care facilities and their staff against claims of alleged medical malpractice. He also represents accountants, appraisers, attorneys, educators, farmers, law enforcement officers, property managers, real estate developers, realtors, and other regulated business owners and their state-licensed employees.
Mr. Thompson has been recognized as a Super Lawyer®1 in the area of professional liability defense since 2015. He has also served on the Wake County Bar Association’s Board of Directors, as well as on the North Carolina Chief Justice’s Commission on Professionalism.
