Chicago Associate Andre A. Hunter, Jr. will serve as a panelist for the “Student Debt Forum” presented by the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section at an in-person and Zoom event on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Central.
The panel will cover a comprehensive overview of student debt, including a Young Attorney Student Debt Panel, a primer on basic financial literacy with regard to student loans, an overview of the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program, and a presentation on the constitutionality surrounding President Biden’s recent executive order and the current status of litigation.
Attorneys will be able to earn MCLE Credit with the Chicago Bar Association and learn more about how some attorneys have dealt with student debt in their careers. A reception will follow the program at the Chicago Bar Association building located at 321 S. Plymouth Court, Chicago, IL 60604.
Mr. Hunter is based in the firm’s Chicago office. He concentrates his practice on the defense of individuals and corporate entities in Environmental/Toxic Tort, Premises Liability, Employment Law, and Commercial Litigation matters.
