Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Associate and Chicago Bar Association (“CBA”) Young Lawyers Section Director Andre Hunter, Jr. authored “Words of Wisdom for New Attorneys” in the March/April 2023 issue of the CBA Record magazine.
As part of the annual Young Lawyers Section (“YLS”) issue of the CBA Record, Mr. Hunter’s article explores the early experiences of law students and young attorneys and offers both practical advice and motivational words for the next generation of legal practitioners. On the issue’s front cover, members of the YLS Executive Council, including Mr. Hunter, are also featured standing on the stairwell of the historic Chicago Bar Association building.
Founded in 1971, the YLS of the Chicago Bar Association serves the needs and interests of over 9,000 law students and newly admitted attorneys. Since its inception, the YLS has enjoyed national prominence, having repeatedly received the American Bar Association award for the Best Young Lawyers Section in the United States as well as numerous awards for individual projects and programs.
Mr. Hunter is based in the firm’s Chicago office. He concentrates his practice on the defense of individuals and corporate entities in environmental & toxic tort, premises liability, employment law, and commercial litigation matters.
