Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Los Angeles Partner Calvin Davis has been selected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. This prestigious honor is extended upon the recommendation of the national officers of the Fellows and Fellows leadership in a specific state or jurisdiction. Selection as a Fellow is a recognition of an attorney whose career has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of society.
The Fellows comprise a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Fellows are recommended by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation. Established in 1955, Fellows support the research of the American Bar Foundation through annual contributions and sponsor seminars and events of direct relevance to the legal profession.
Mr. Davis is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group and co-chair of the Franchise Law practice group. He is an experienced trial attorney in state and federal courts, having tried to verdict cases in multiple jurisdictions and various matters including breach of contract, fraud, trade secret misappropriation, and wrongful employment discharge. He devotes a significant portion of his practice to franchise litigation.
Mr. Davis received a Distinguished Service Award from the United States Department of Justice. Best Lawyers in America® recognized him for his work within Commercial Litigation from 2018-2022 and Franchise Law from 2020-2022.
