Kelly Drew, Co-Managing Partner of the Inland Northwest Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani offices, and Associate Grace Maldonado, served as panelists at “Women at the Head of the Table: Women as Negotiators and Litigators” at Gonzaga Law School on November 13, 2023.
The presentation focused on answering female law students’ questions regarding various topics, from the best legal careers for women to common challenges female lawyers face. The presentation, sponsored by the Gonzaga Law School Women’s Law Caucus, aimed at educating female law students and providing mentorship.
“It was an honor to speak at the event and meet vibrant and engaging female law students eager to begin their legal careers,” Drew said. “Having mentorship can be critical to navigating the challenges of being a female in a male-dominated profession. As a female litigator, it is important to me to help equip law students with tools to self-advocate and thrive in their legal careers.”
Ms. Drew is an experienced and tenacious litigator who practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation, employment law, education law, and other related litigation matters. She defends against class actions, single-plaintiff lawsuits and administrative charges.
