Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Partner Spencer Hugret has been selected for membership in the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates ("ABOTA"). Membership is extended by invitation only to experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality.

The American Board of Trial Advocates is a national association of more than 7,300 experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Since 1958, ABOTA has worked to uphold the jury system and to elevate the standards of integrity, civility, and professionalism in the legal profession. Its aim is to aid in the education and training of trial lawyers and to provide a forum for discussion through which trial lawyers can have an active voice.
Mr. Hugret is Chair of the firm's Automotive Litigation & Autonomous Vehicles practice group and Chair of the San Francisco Product & General Liability practice group. He is also a member of the firm’s Aviation and Commercial Litigation practice groups. His multifaceted practice focuses on product liability litigation in a wide variety of matters, including automotive claims, aviation accidents, commercial litigation, consumer litigation, and consumer fraud.
He has significant trial experience in complex, high-exposure product liability matters, mass torts, class actions, multi-district litigation, business torts, unfair competition, “bet the company” litigation, consumer litigation, and breach of fiduciary duty claims. Mr. Hugret has also represented clients in arbitration proceedings involving banking, financial, and securities matters before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”), formerly known as the National Association of Securities Dealers (“NASD”) arbitrations.
