Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani was recognized as one of the “Most Feared Law Firms in Litigation” and one of an even smaller group of law firms singled out as “Intimidating Opponents," firms that legal decision-makers say make their intimidating footprint known.
According to the BTI Litigation Outlook 2024 report, firms featured in this highly competitive list are those that top legal decision-makers do not wish to face in the courtroom. These firms are able to challenge long-standing precedents, take on conflict-adjacent matters, operate confidently despite limited known facts, overcome obstacles, and link seemingly unconnected ideas.
The Litigation Outlook report outlines changes, trends, and opportunities for law firms as they move into the new year. This year's results are based on more than 280 interviews with legal decision-makers at large companies with $1 billion or more in revenue and executives who influence hiring at law firms.
The 2024 report also states that litigation spending on outside counsel is increasing for the fourth year in a row but that law firms must find the 54 percent of companies increasing their spending on outside counsel because these companies are no longer exerting significant effort in their search for the perfect law firm.
