Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Partner Justin M. Puleo has been selected to speak at the North Carolina Ambulatory Surgical Center Association’s (“NCASCA”) Spring Education Day on March 15, 2023.
His presentation is entitled “ASCs: Best Practices from a Legal, Operations, and National Trend Perspective.” The presentation will focus on new and shifting trends facing ASCs in North Carolina and nationally, such as joint ventures, informed consent, and employment shortages, and how ASCs can best address those changes from a legal and operational perspective. NCASCA is a non-profit trade organization representing single-specialty and multi-specialty ambulatory surgical centers in North Carolina.
Justin M. Puleo has been practicing healthcare law for over ten years and is the national Co–Chair of the Health Care Regulatory and Transactional Practice Group. Based out of the firm’s Raleigh office, his work focuses primarily in this area. He routinely manages corporate healthcare deals involving joint ventures (at times with private equity investment) and counsels healthcare providers and clinical researchers to identify and resolve regulatory compliance issues.
