San Francisco and Oakland Managing Partner Marie Trimble Holvick will present "Strategies for a Successful Mediation in Wage and Hour Class and PAGA Actions" at the 13th Annual Advanced Wage and Hour Conference, hosted virtually by the California Lawyers Association ("CLA") Labor and Employment Law Section on October 26, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. Pacific.
This presentation will explore tactics that specifically address various aspects of mediation in employment or labor matters, including strategies for mediator selection, interactions with plaintiff firms during mediation, and case valuation for settlement.
Ms. Holvick is an experienced trial attorney with expertise in handling employment matters involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Ms. Holvick also regularly handles lawsuits involving class action “wage and hour” violations and Private Attorney General Act claims.
