Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Scott P. Ward as a Partner in the firm's Orange County office. He joins the Insurance practice group.
For over 20 years, Mr. Ward has devoted his practice to representing carriers in complex insurance matters involving first-party and third-party coverages. He has drafted opinions analyzing general liability, commercial property, personal injury and advertising injury, homeowners', commercial and personal auto, directors and officers, and professional liability coverages provided under standard ISO and manuscript policies.
Mr. Ward also has significant insurance litigation experience, prevailing in bad faith, declaratory relief and equitable contribution cases filed in California state and federal courts. His approach is to thoroughly analyze the coverage issues of each case early in the litigation to develop strategies leading to the insurer's prompt and successful resolution of the case.
"Scott's extensive insurance law experience and commitment to delivering top-notch legal services make him a perfect fit for our team. We look forward to his valuable contributions to our practice and are excited about the opportunities ahead with him on board," said Manuel Saldana, Co-Managing Partner of the Orange County office.
He is admitted to practice law in California. Mr. Ward received his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. Since 2003, Mr. Ward has worked exclusively in insurance law.
