Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Tucker Dowling as a Partner in the firm's San Diego office, strengthening the Commercial Litigation practice group.
Mr. Dowling's practice focuses on product liability defense, commercial litigation, and business torts across multiple jurisdictions. He has broad experience defending Fortune 500 companies and global product manufacturers in both state and federal court against single-plaintiff claims, class actions, and other pattern litigation matters involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, industrial machinery, construction equipment, and consumer fraud. He also represents corporations and early-stage entrepreneurs in transactional and litigation matters in the areas of trademark and trade secrets, real estate transactions, commercial contracts, corporate formation, governance, and compliance.

Mr. Dowling received the Best Lawyers in America® Ones to Watch distinction in Product Liability Litigation – Defendants in 2024 and was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Products Liability from 2022 to 2023. He is a member of the Louis M. Welsh Chapter of the American Inns of Court and teaches California Civil Procedure and lectures on trademark and trade secrets as an adjunct law professor at local San Diego law schools and student-operated legal clinics. Mr. Dowling is also active in his local community on the Board of Directors for the California Innocence Project and for the Peninsula Family YMCA.
He is admitted to practice in California, Arizona, and the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Southern Districts of California. He earned his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Slippery Rock University.
