Dallas Senior Counsel Brent Buyse has been selected as a 2024 Best Lawyer Under 40 by D Magazine and will be featured in their January issue for the second year in a row. He was selected as a "young gun" in the category of Business/Commercial Litigation.
He was chosen by peer nomination and confirmed by a panel of top local attorneys who identified him as one of the outstanding professionals in the field. To qualify, a nominee must be under 40 years of age, have a valid State Bar of Texas card number with no pending disciplinary action, and have practiced in Texas for a minimum of five years.
Mr. Buyse is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Product & General Liability, International, Aviation, Advertising & E-Commerce, and Artificial Intelligence practice groups. Mr. Buyse has defended corporations in commercial disputes involving breach of contract, large-scale data network implementations, and data breach events where millions of dollars were at stake. He has also represented multiple companies and online retailers and obtained complete dismissals for claims involving breach of contract, the False Claims Act, the Program Fraud Civil Remedies Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, and the Unfair Debt Collection Act, as well as a variety of tort claims.
