Stacy Moon will serve as Managing Partner of the firm's Birmingham office. Ms. Moon has more than 20 years of primarily defense litigation experience, including commercial, construction, employment litigation, and professional liability defense. She focuses on the best outcome for her clients as defined by the client, whether creative and effective negotiation or litigating to and through trial and appeals.
Arizona
Melissa Gardner will serve as Assistant Managing Partner of the firm's Phoenix office, alongside Managing Partner Kira Barrett. She currently handles all aspects of litigation, from claim inception through resolution at trial or on appeal. Ms. Gardner has actively litigated cases involving medical fraud, auto accidents, trucking and transportation, personal injury, premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, breach of contract, insurance coverage, and bad faith issues.
California
Marie Trimble Holvick will serve as Assistant Managing Partner of the firm's Northern California offices, alongside Managing Partner Adam Sugarman, which includes oversight of the firm’s operations across the region, including offices in San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, and Fresno. She is an experienced trial attorney with expertise in handling employment matters involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Ms. Holvick also regularly handles lawsuits involving class action “wage and hour” violations and PAGA claims.
Lindsey Romano will serve as Co-Managing Partner of the firm's Bay Area offices, San Francisco and Oakland, alongside Andrew Port. Ms. Romano’s health care practice focuses on representing nationwide industry health care clients who serve the most vulnerable patient populations. She has defended claims ranging from allegations of wrongful death, sexual and physical abuse, and catastrophic injury.
Andrew Port will serve as Co-Managing Partner of the Bay Area offices, San Francisco and Oakland, alongside Lindsey Romano. Mr. Port’s practice has focused on the maritime industry for over 30 years. He represents vessel owners, operators, charterers, and their underwriters in matters involving wrongful death and personal injury, collisions, cargo claims, hull damage, and oil spills (investigation and cleanup).
Quyen Le will serve as Assistant Managing Partner of the firm's Bay Area offices, San Francisco and Oakland, alongside Co-Office Managing Partners Andrew Port and Lindsey Romano. Ms. Le primarily represents insurance carriers in bad faith litigation arising out of claims involving general negligence, professional liability, shareholder liability, sexual misconduct, foster parent liability, and premise liability.
Jennifer Holly will serve as Co-Managing Partner of the firm's Sacramento office, alongside Co-Managing Partner Kathy Rhoads and Assistant Managing Partner Talia Delanoy, and will continue to lead the Fresno office as Co-Managing Partner with Adam Sugarman. She represents employers in employment and traditional labor law matters, including discrimination and sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, retaliation, workers’ compensation, trade secrets, unfair competition, and wage and hour violations.
Candice Nam will serve as Co-Managing Partner of the firm's Los Angeles office, alongside Co-Managing Partner Peter Schwartz. Ms. Nam specializes in representing businesses and franchisors in commercial disputes involving breaches of contract, unfair competition, and misappropriation of trade secrets. She also defends clients across a wide range of labor and employment claims.
Connecticut
Steve Zakrzewski will serve as Co-Managing Partner of the firm's Hartford office, alongside John Robinson. He focuses his practice on product liability, professional liability, appellate law, and commercial litigation. He has successfully handled multiple appeals across New England, including matters before the Connecticut Appellate Court, Massachusetts Appellate Court, First Circuit, and Second Circuit.
Mississippi
Hiawatha Northington II will serve as Managing Partner of the firm's Jackson office. His experience includes complex commercial disputes and representation of defendants in products liability, breach of warranty, breach of fiduciary duty, and professional liability claims; premises liability litigation; fair housing proceedings; class actions; consumer fraud cases; labor and employment matters; and white-collar criminal and governmental investigations.
Consumer Protection Litigation Practice Group
Andrew Schwartz will serve as the Co-Chair of the Consumer Protection Litigation practice group, alongside Sean Flynn. His practice is largely devoted to matters regarding professional liability, concentrating on creditors' rights defense, defamation and privacy issues, business and commercial law, and legal malpractice matters. Mr. Schwartz defends all manner of financial institutions.
Estate & Trust Litigation Practice Group
Joseph Sacher will serve as Co-Chair of the Estate & Trust Litigation practice group, alongside William Sleeth and Carol Schaner. Mr. Sacher has extensive litigation, trial, and appellate experience in securities and complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. He represents individuals, businesses, accountants and accounting firms, professionals, and financial institutions in general and complex, multi-million-dollar civil litigation.
Health Care Practice Group
Allison Becker will serve as Co-Chair of the Health Care practice group, alongside Lindsey Romano. Ms. Becker handles matters in a variety of state, federal, and appellate courts, focusing on health care and professional liability defense. She has extensive experience defending correctional medical, dental, and mental health providers across the country against Section 1983 deliberate indifference claims.
