Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani was recognized among the top 10 most active law firms in the United States representing defendants and the most active law firm representing plaintiffs in trade secret cases in Lex Machina’s 2024 Trade Secret Litigation Report.
The report indicates that GRSM managed 30 defense cases and 95 plaintiff cases in 42 districts between 2021 and 2023, representing more plaintiffs than any other firm. Lex Machina ranks the most active law firms by total appearances in cases filed from 2021 to 2023 in more than 15 practice areas.
Peter Siachos, Managing Partner of the firm’s Charleston office and Co-Chair of the Commercial Litigation and Class Action practice groups, led the firm in filing the highest number of trade secret cases on behalf of plaintiffs during that period. Nearly half of the most active law firms on the defense side, including GRSM, also ranked among the most active on the plaintiffs’ side.
“This recognition reflects not only our firm’s experience and deep bench of skilled trade secrets attorneys but also the trust our clients place in us to protect their intellectual property,” said Siachos. “It’s a testament to our 50-state platform, enabling us to aggressively and efficiently safeguard trade secrets across diverse business areas—R&D, franchising, sales, and IT—nationwide.”
