Crone works with individuals and private entities on complex litigation matters involving a wide range of issues, including labor and employment, construction, business, commercial, and administrative matters. He represents clients in any forum where litigation occurs, whether at trial or on appeal before state, federal, and administrative tribunals. John also advocates for clients before Alaska's Marijuana Control Board and assists in solving marijuana-related problems in the areas of entity formation, operations, and regulatory compliance.
He represents clients throughout Alaska and beyond. Before joining GRSM, he worked for a full-service Alaska law firm, handling a wide variety of litigation and transactional matters, including representing employers and employees in all disputes, consolidated pharmaceutical and products liability litigation, and class actions.

He is admitted to practice in Alaska, Colorado, the U.S. District Court for Alaska, the U.S. District Court for Colorado, the U.S. District Court for Eastern Michigan, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Alaska and Colorado, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He earned his law degree from the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Colombia College, Chicago.
