On May 22, an article co-authored by Gordon & Rees partner Jeff Lilly was published in Inside Counsel titled “Spoliation and the long awaited federal e-discovery rule changes."
Lilly states that “The reality is while the new rules create an opportunity for a much more rational and predictable approach to e-discovery issues, those that prefer the old approach will be working to maintain the status quo. Lilly is a partner in the Austin office and a member of the firm's Drug & Medical Device practice group. He is also co-chair of the firm's E-discovery practice group and is chair of a task force comprised of members of IADC, FDCC, DRI and ADTA which advocates for reasonable e-discovery rules and the application and interpretation of same.
