The Los Angeles Employment Law team of Debra Ellwood Meppen, Robert Feinstein and Tamar Karaguezian obtained a judgment in favor of their client, one of the largest security guard companies in the U.S., in a lawsuit filed in Orange County Superior Court. The suit alleged causes of action for failure to prevent discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. After initially granting Plaintiff leave to amend his complaint, the Court subsequently sustained Defendant's demurrer to the first amended complaint, without leave to amend, as to all causes of action. Accordingly, the first amended complaint was dismissed and judgment was entered in favor of the client.
