A Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Minneapolis trial team, including Partner Ellen A. Brinkman, Partner David A. Schooler, and Senior Counsel Erin S. Conlin, with the assistance of Senior Counsel Luke J. Wolf on appeal, obtained the affirmance of a favorable jury verdict in the Minnesota Court of Appeals on behalf of a non-profit organization that owns senior living facilities.
The case involved a number of claims by a former board member, including allegations of breach of contract, wrongful termination, and breach of fiduciary duties. Following the trial in a Minnesota state court, the judge made a significant ruling based on a motion for judgment as a matter of law in favor of GRSM’s client. The plaintiff appealed this decision.
