Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani has an excellent opportunity for a Summer Law Clerk in our Portland office. The Law Clerk works under the direction of the Partners in preparing matters for hearing, trial, arbitration or mediation.

Qualifications:

  • This is a part-time in person position – days of week and hours negotiable. 
  • Candidates must be enrolled in law school.
  • Only accepting applications of rising 2L or 3L.
  • Must be available to be in office on scheduled days. No remote applications will be accepted.
  • Duties and responsibilities include drafting correspondence, pleadings, opinion letters and other documents; reviewing and analyzing documents for relevance and privilege; preparing for, attending and summarizing depositions; coordinating with witnesses; communicating with clients, courts and other counsel.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills and command of the English language.
  • Coordinate and communicate with parties outside the Firm including clients, courts, opposing and co-counsel, vendors, attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, case assistants, managers and other staff.

Salary Range $20 to $35 per hour (depends on experience)
