Gordon & Rees partner and former Chief Judge in Florida's Third District Court of Appeal, Daivd Gersten, will be among three dozen of Florida's most experienced trial lawyers and judges teaching "Super Stars in Trial & Jury Selection," a half-day course on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Organized by the Dade County Bar Association, participants will witness an actual jury deliberation, hear comments from the judicial panel, and learn how jurors evaluate cases and benefit from the view from the bench. The program will include a jury comprised of random members of the South Florida community and participants will delve into real court room senarios to help students further develop and fine tune their skils in voir dire, opening, closing, cross and direct exam, jury selection, pre-trial motions and handling experts.
This educational course is approved for 12 CLE credits. Space is limited. Registration is $39 for Dade County Bar Association members; $99 flash sale for non-members (normally $200). David M. Gersten, former Chief Judge in Florida's Third District Court of Appeal, is a partner in the Commercial Litigation practice group of Gordon & Rees’ Miami office.
