On Thursday, May 26, Gordon & Rees Partner and former Chief Judge of Florida's 3rd District Court of Appeal, David M. Gersten, will join a panel of legal experts to present "Bias Discovery: What is it? How to get it? And Can you keep it out?" Hosted by the Palm Beach County Bar Association's Judicial Relations Committee, the panelist will deliver a thorough analysis on Bias Discovery that will include discussion of recent cases and opinions.
Gersten along with the Honorable Meenu Sasser, 15th Judicial Circuit, Civil Division, and Mariano Garcia, shareholder at Searcy Denny Scarola Barnhart & Shipley PA, will delve into issues with Bias Discovery including the current Florida Rule of Civil Procedure (Financial Bias Discovery) as well as the limitations of Bias Discovery. The presentation will conclude with a question and answer period guided by Moderator Jeremy Bloor, Esq., McDonald Hopkins, LLC.
