Kristin Blocher is Senior Counsel in the Sacramento office of GRSM and is a member of the Employment Law and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Kristin is an accomplished attorney with substantial transactional and litigation experience in a diverse set of practice areas. She is well-versed at handling matters in both federal and state courts. Her practice is focused both on complex civil litigation matters including governmental tort liability, hospitality, elder care, personal injury, wrongful death, and premises liability, as well as representation of employers and management in all aspects of employment law such as administrative and civil claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and alleged wage and hour violations.
Kristin is a passionate advocate for her clients. Her international upbringing gives her a unique and levelheaded ability to communicate and collaborate with clients and counsel alike. She recognizes the value in ensuring her clients understand the legal process and is determined to make an adversarial system as cordial and constructive as possible while relentlessly pursuing her clients’ best interests. She has achieved several favorable rulings and amicable settlements including in many high-exposure cases.
When not in the office, Kristin can frequently be found running the trails around Sacramento with her four-legged sidekick, snowboarding near her family home at Lake Tahoe, walking shelter dogs, or hosting friends for wine dinners.
