Laura Walker is a Partner in the San Diego office of GRSM and is a member of the Employment practice group.
She has extensive experience defending employers in labor and employment matters, including defeating sex harassment, disability discrimination, and whistleblower retaliation action via summary judgment. She also has wage and hour class action and PAGA litigation experience.
Laura has worked with her clients to overhaul HR practices, including complete revision and adoption of personnel rules and employee handbook, development of numerous employee policies, and development of best practices to reduce employee claims. Ms. Walker has also counseled employers regarding COVID-19, ADA compliance and accommodation, FMLA/CFRA, Title VII, Title IX and FEHA issues, wage & hour compliance, paperless HR, employee discipline, termination, employee benefits, pension rights and other aspects of labor and employment law.
