Biography

Robin G. Sagstetter is an Associate at GRSM working cases in the areas of Employment Law, Construction Law, Torts Product Liability, Professional Liability and Personal Injury, litigating cases in both state and federal courts. Robin represents multi-million dollar companies to small businesses and everything in between. As an extremely goal oriented person, Robin is the person you want on your team defending your rights. She understands the importance of prompt communication, dedicated representation and resourceful strategies to get the job done.

Robin has extensive experience in employment law claims such as discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, harassment and defamation, to name a few. She handles various kinds of employment law matters and is familiar with state and federal employment law, as well as employment administrative agencies, including but not limited to the DFEH, DLSE, OSHA and EEOC. Robin is available to counsel employers regarding regular work place issues, such as terminations, hiring, wages, meal and rest breaks, employment handbooks, policies, new employment laws and sexual harassment training.

As for construction law matters, Robin focuses her practice on defending construction contractors, subcontractors, real estate developers, construction employers, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, corporations and other business entities to provide a broad area of representation. She handles breach of contract claims, mistakes, delays, accidents, tort liability and general litigation cases.Robin is also available for legal advice regarding construction matters, including but not limited to construction defects, contract language, policies and procedures, subcontractors, employment and independent contractor issues.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Robin spent approximately 16 years working several legal positions, including but not limited to Paralegal, Legal Secretary, Office Manager, Law Clerk and College Professor. During those years, she supported several attorneys for hundreds of day-to-day litigation and dozens of trials, including multiple high profile cases. The experiences she gained over these years contributes to Robin’s well rounded knowledge of the legal system, including intricate details of federal, state and local procedure.
