Gordon & Rees was ranked #18 in the "Top 25 Most Diverse Law Firms in South Florida" for 2011 published in the January 23, 2012 edition of the Daily Business Review, moving up seven spots from its 2010 ranking of #25. In a related list in the same article, Gordon & Rees was ranked #1 in South Florida firms with the highest percentage of women attorneys.
Miami Co-Managing Partner Robin Symons was cited in the article as one of five female managing partners in South Florida law firms. The Daily Business Review's 2012 Diversity Scorecard, an annual survey of law firms operating in South Florida and their hiring and promotion of minorities, illustrates that "while women are making great strides at the associate level, nearly reaching parity with men at many firms, they are still far from matching men at the partnership level."
