On Sept. 23, Ron Neiwirth joined the Miami office of Gordon & Rees as a partner in the Business Transactions Practice Group. Neiwirth has more than 40 years of experience providing strategic counsel to a diverse group of clients, including publicly and closely held companies, bankruptcy trustees, official and unofficial creditors' committees, and secured and unsecured creditors, as well as investors of assets and distressed companies, claims purchasers, and financial institutions.
Neiwirth handles bankruptcy proceedings and a full range of insolvency matters -- locally and throughout the United States -- on behalf of foreign liquidators. He has extensive experience in the areas of Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, real estate workouts, debtor-in-possession financing, cash collateral stipulations, bankruptcy litigation and international insolvency proceedings.
Neiwirth is a Florida Civil Law Notary, and a director of the National Association of Civil Law Notaries (NACLN). He earned his J.D. from the University of Florida and his B.A. from St. Francis College.
