Neiwirth's panel will discuss “Recent Developments That Impact Wealth Protection Planning, Including Bankruptcy, Florida, Tax and Other Laws and Recent Court Decisions Including Ethical Considerations.”
The Advanced Asset Protection Workshop is a half-day, comprehensive program that will provide both new and experienced practitioners with current and leading-edge information, strategies, checklists and workshop-style discussion and materials on how to best protect clients from major threats to wealth, while also evaluating alternate strategies, recent case and statutory law and professional responsibility aspects of this area.

Neiwirth has wide-ranging experience in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcies; Chapter 15 proceedings in aid of foreign liquidations; Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors; and Receivership. He is experienced in real estate workouts; Debtor-In-Possession financing; cash collateral issues; purchase of assets from insolvency cases; the prosecution and defense of a wide variety of avoidance actions; and other bankruptcy litigation, including the litigation of asset protection issues concerning offshore AP trusts. He has also represented steamship lines in liquidation and in Chapter 11, dealing with the intersection of bankruptcy, state law, insolvency, and maritime law.
