Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Talia Delanoy as a partner in the Employment Law and Product & General Liability practice groups in the firm's Sacramento office. Delanoy was previously with LeClairRyan LLP in the firm's Sacramento office.

In Delanoy's labor and employment practice she defends employers against claims of wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation and breach of contract. She practices in both state and federal courts and before administrative entities and has extensive experience with claims brought pursuant to the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). Delanoy also defends employers against claimed wage and hour violations such as failure to provide meal and rest breaks, failure to pay minimum wage, and failure to pay overtime or earned vacation. In addition, she has experience evaluating claims brought under the Private Attorney General Act (PAGA), which if properly defended, can save employers from costly penalties.
Delanoy handles class action litigation in all areas of employment law. She has experience defending retail chains, construction industry clients, non-profit organizations, long term care and skilled nursing facilities, commercial transportation companies and restaurants, among others. Focused on helping employers avoid litigation, Delanoy counsels her clients about compliance with the law and best practices with progressive discipline, termination and wage and hour issues.
In her product & general liability practice, Delanoy also successfully defends individuals, trucking companies, contractors and medical transportation providers against cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death. Delanoy has extensive experience with products liability cases involving auto manufacturers, aviation and tool manufacturers. She has defended long term care and skilled nursing facilities against claims of personal battery and elder abuse and has experience with claims against the massage industry. Delanoy defends homeowners and businesses large and small against claims related to premises liability, professional liability, construction accidents, property disputes and property damage matters.
In 2018, she was named to Benchmark Litigation's 40 & Under Hot List. Delanoy is admitted to practice in California, and the U.S. District Court, Central, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of California. Delanoy is a member of the Women Lawyers of Sacramento and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California. She also serves as a Board Member and Secretary to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Sacramento.
Also joining the Sacramento office are associates Hailey Rogerson and Whitney Prout. Rogerson is a member of the firm's Product & General Liability practice group and Prout is a member of the firm's Employment practice group. Rogerson was also previously with LeClairRyan LLP in Sacramento and Prout was previously with the California News Publishers Association.
