Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani has expanded and added depth of experience to the firm’s Tennessee office with the elevation of Courtney C. Williams to partner and with the addition of two new attorneys, Kelly Telfeyan and Tanner Gibson.
Newly-elevated partner Courtney C. Williams joined the office in January of 2020 as Senior Counsel and immediately began capitalizing on the firm's 50-State platform, allowing her to provide clients with outstanding legal representation not only in Tennessee but in every state throughout the country. She advises companies and litigates on their behalf on a wide range of employment and commercial litigation matters, including compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, discrimination and harassment, claims of wrongful termination, defamation, and breach of contract all over the country. She also works with clients to develop employee handbooks and advises on severance, noncompete, and other employment-related agreements.
Senior Counsel Kelly Telfeyan focuses her practice on Commercial and Construction Litigation. Licensed in Tennessee since 2005, her commercial litigation practice has included representing clients in disputes subject to arbitration, before state and federal courts, and before governmental agencies with respect to a wide variety of matters, including foreclosure, breach of contract, negligence, leases, and tax appeals.
Associate Tanner Gibson is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Professional Liability practice groups. He also has experience in criminal defense and personal injury law.
"Our Tennessee practice has grown exponentially over the last three years, requiring us to continually evolve to meet our clients’ increasing needs and ensure we are providing the highest level of responsiveness and quality work product our clients are accustomed to receiving throughout the country. Kelly and Tanner are great additions to the Tennessee office, adding to our diversity of practice and complementing our team’s experience." said Heather Gwinn Pabon, Managing Partner of the Tennessee office.
The firm’s growth in Middle Tennessee has necessitated the firm’s relocation to a larger space, and the firm is pleased to announce that it has relocated to Franklin’s McEwen Northside Development, a 45-acre mixed-use development in the heart of Cool Springs.
“We moved our offices from downtown Nashville to Williamson County in 2019, primarily to improve the quality of life for our team members and make ourselves more accessible to our clients. Since then, our office has thrived. We outgrew our current space more quickly than anticipated and began looking for a location that could support our current and long-term growth strategies and client priorities. McEwen Northside checked all of our boxes, including excellent paths of ingress and egress for our clients, beautiful multi-use indoor and outdoor spaces for client and team meetings, and easy accessibility to dining, retail, and health and wellness options for our team members. We are really looking forward to being part of the McEwen Northside community and so very excited to grow into this next chapter of Gordon & Rees Nashville,” Said Gwinn Pabon.
The Nashville-area team has long-term established connections in the local and business communities and throughout Tennessee and other southern states. This highly-skilled group of attorneys offers client-centered legal representation in a broad range of practice areas, including the commercial litigation, employment, entertainment & recreation, health care, intellectual property, professional liability defense, retail & hospitality, and tort & product liability.
