John joins the Westchester office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He handles all aspects of litigation, including conducting initial investigations, drafting pleadings, court conferences, preliminary and dispositive motions, oral arguments and depositions. He represents companies of different sizes in various types of complex litigation. John earned his J.D. from Saint John’s University School of Law and his B.A. from Hunter College - CUNY.
Andrew joins the Pittsburgh office as a member of the Health Care practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Andrew practiced at a local plaintiffs firm. Andrew earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his B.A. from Christopher Newport University.
Valissa joins the Westchester office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Valissa earned her J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and her B.A. from Hamilton College.
Aditi joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Maritime practice group. Her practice primarily involves working on maritime personal injury, wrongful death and occupational disease litigation. In her previous roles at boutique maritime law firms in India, Aditi represented vessel owners and P & I Clubs in cases related to vessel arrests, charter party disputes, cargo damage, customs and insolvency. Aditi earned her BB.A LL.B from Symbiosis Law School, India and her LL.M from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.
Daniel joins the New York office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. Daniel earned his LL.M from The George Washington University Law School and his LL.B from The University of Buckingham./p>
James joins the Hartford office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Prior to joining the firm, James was an associate at a regional insurance defense firm, where he defended individuals, businesses and professionals in negligence, products liability, professional malpractice and environmental claims. James earned his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law and his B.S. from Sacred Heart University.
Adam joins the San Diego office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. After four years on active duty with the US Coast Guard as a Judge Advocate, advising senior members of the service on Administrative Law and representing victims of sex assault and other crimes, Adam returns to environmental/toxic torts litigation where he started nearly 15 years ago. Having tried nearly 50 cases to verdict, Adam brings a wealth of expertise in both trial management and trial practice. He is also a Proctor in Admiralty with the Maritime Law Association of the United States where he has extensive ADR and litigation experience. Adam earned his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and his B.A. from Boston University.
Josiah joins the Los Angeles office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. In addition to experience as an employment litigator, Josiah has worked as an investigator in UCLA’s Discrimination Prevention Office and as a Risk Management professional for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the CHLA Medical Group. He began his legal career at a boutique law firm in Chicago, Illinois, where he represented individual plaintiffs and small businesses in employment law matters. Josiah earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and his B.A. from Northwestern University.
Laurie joins the Portland (ME) office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Laurie earned her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and her B.A. from Oklahoma State University.
Kristopher joins the Seattle office as a member of the Intellectual Property practice group. He has experience with a variety of intellectual property and commercial litigation matters, including patent, copyright, trademark, breach of contract, securities, antitrust, and class action cases. Prior to joining the firm, Kristopher worked at a large, international law firm in New York, handling complex litigation matters, often with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake. While in this role, he also served as a teaching assistant to Jay P. Lefkowitz and the Honorable Steven Menashi of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit for their Columbia Law School course on U.S. Supreme Court advocacy. Kristopher earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law and his B.S. from Washington State University.
Thomas joins the Dallas office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He has substantial experience in all aspects and types of civil commercial litigation, including personal injury, premises liability, insurance coverage and bad faith, professional liability, and product liability matters, with a special emphasis in asbestos litigation. Thomas earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and his B.A. from California State University, Long Beach.
Ayushi joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She defends employers from all employment law actions, including but not limited to, claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and other state law claims. Ayushi earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and her B.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Chanel joins the Phoenix office as a member of the Commercial Litigation, Insurance, Employment Law, and White Collar Criminal Defense practice groups. Chanel earned her J.D. from Arizona Summit Law School and her B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
Shawheen joins the Irvine office as a member of the Product & General Liability and Construction practice groups. He second-chaired a bench trial involving a hotly-contested fraud action against a broker who defrauded his client where he successfully obtained a near 7-figure judgement. He has handled countless cases from inception to conclusion including preparing and arguing dispositive motions, taking and defending deposition, and mediating difficult cases to resolution. He has obtained many favorable results for his clients through planning and implementing a legal strategy tailored to his clients’ needs and desires. Shawheen earned his J.D. from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Irvine.
Bill joins the Chicago office as a member of the Professional Liability Defense, Health Care, and Employment Law practice groups. His practice focuses primarily on matters involving complex litigation. Prior to joining the firm, his practice focused on the defense of medical professionals and local and national healthcare practice groups and organizations. He has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation ranging from initial case assessment and investigation through jury verdicts. Bill earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Jenna joins the Alexandria office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Jenna earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and her B.A. from The Catholic University of America.
Hillary joins the Pittsburgh office as a member of the Health Care practice group. She concentrates her practice on medical malpractice claims, representing hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare personnel. She began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office. She then worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, where she served in the General Trial Unit, Domestic Violence Unit, and Crimes Against Persons Unit. In those units, She was responsible for the prosecution of misdemeanor and felony offenses, including firearms and narcotics violations, robberies, and assaults. She handled cases at every stage of criminal prosecution, from the initial investigation through trial and post-sentence motions. Hillary earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
