She will provide updates on recent legal developments that effect the handling of cases in the area of disability insurance. The discussion will be around both individual disability and ERISA as well.
The Eastern Claims Conference is an educational conference devoted to Life, Disability, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, and Accident and Health Claims Management. The ECC's only function is to present an annual conference for the benefit of those who serve the insurance industry in the claims handling process.
Leonor "Leo" Lagomasino is with the firm’s Miami office. For more than 30 years, Ms. Lagomasino has devoted her practice to insurers as well as businesses and individuals in a broad variety of complex matters. She joined Gordon & Rees after 17 years as a partner in Big Law preceded by 10 years as partner in a boutique litigation firm.
