The article, titled Don't Be A Plaintiff's Lawyer's Next Victim: Avoiding the Pitfalls of Data Breach Litigation, deconstructs prior plaintiff strategies and how they have evolved to overcome defense favorable court rulings and explores the latest trends in class action litigation against companies that have had their customer data compromised. The authors also offer practical advice on mitigating the companies' losses as a result of a compromise incident.
