Richard joins the Tampa office as a member of the Insurance practice group. His practice focuses on property insurance, general liability, and construction defect litigation. To that end, Richard has leveraged his first-hand experience in the construction, plumbing, and oil & gas industries to garner extensive insider knowledge as it relates to the valuation and defense of claims. Richard earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his B.A. from Northern Illinois University.
Luis joins the Irvine office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. With more than 17 years of experience as a litigator, Luis has developed expertise on a wide range of topics including toxic torts, environmental law, and personal injury litigation. He also has extensive experience defending developers and contractors in disputes that involve complex construction defect disputes. Currently, he focuses his practice on representing national corporations in nationwide complex litigation matters, with a primary emphasis in products liability defense. Luis earned his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Riverside.
Joseph joins the Wilmington office as a member of the Insurance practice group. He is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience handling complex products liability and professional negligence matters. He has litigated the validity and coverage issues involved in the legislative and statutory provisions applicable to medical negligence claims, coverage and priority of claims. Joseph earned his J.D. from Temple University School of Law and his B.S. from Mount St. Mary's College.
Maxwell joins the Providence office as a member of the Business Transactions practice group. Maxwell earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law and his B.A. from Duquesne University.
Lara joins the Tampa office as a member of the Insurance practice group. Her practice focuses on civil litigation across Florida’s state and federal courts with an emphasis on property insurance and general liability. She also represents clients in all aspects of appellate litigation, including preservation of issues in the trial court, petitions for extraordinary writs, direct appeals, and oral arguments. Lara earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Florida.
Jason joins the Seattle office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Jason’s practice focused on civil litigation matters at a Seattle law firm. His practice included school law, employment law, commercial contract disputes, and property disputes. He has represented school districts, municipal governments, and religious entities. Jason earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and his B.S. from Utah State University.
Judith joins the Fresno office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She has successfully represented employers before the ALRB, Cal/OSHA, WCAB and the Labor Commissioner throughout California by being firm and achieving excellent outcomes in her cases. Judith earned her J.D. from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law and her B.A. from California State University, Bakersfield.
Harrison joins the Missoula office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Harrison clerked for the Honorable Judge Deborah Kim Christopher in Lake and Sanders County, Montana. While clerking, he experienced a wide range of legal issues, from criminal to probate, personal injury to administrative law. Harrison earned his J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law and his B.A. from Utah State University.
Hayden joins the Chicago office as a member of the Insurance practice group. He has experience litigating in both state and federal court. Before joining the firm, Hayden represented the State of Illinois in criminal matters under appellate review as an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. Hayden earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and his B.A. from Vassar College.
Richard joins the Salt Lake City office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He represents individuals and corporate clients in resolving a variety of business related disputes, including matters involving breach of contract, professional negligence and malpractice, personal injury and other tort claims. Richard earned his J.D. from Western New England University and his B.S. from Brigham Young University.
Brady joins the Columbus office as a member of the Commercial Litigation, Energy, and Intellectual Property practice groups. Before joining the firm, Brady served as a judicial law clerk to Chief Justice John D. Minton, Jr. of the Supreme Court of Kentucky, and then to Senior U.S. District Judge William O. Bertelsman of the Eastern District of Kentucky. This experience provided him unique insight into the rules and operations of both state and federal courts, and of trial and appellate courts, having participated in a broad range of matters, including various forms of commercial litigation, real property disputes, constitutional challenges, and employment litigation, to name a few. Brady earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenburg College of Law and his B.A. from Eastern Kentucky University.
Chad joins the Las Vegas office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. His practice focuses primarily in the area of commercial litigation, including but not limited to, contract claims, insurance defense, and business torts. He has experience representing a variety of clients in complex commercial litigation and pre-litigation disputes involving corporate dissolution, contract disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, insurance coverage, intellectual property, and anti-trust claims. Chad earned his J.D. from Brigham Young University - J. Reuben Clark School of Law and his B.A. from Brigham Young University.
Amanda joins the Sacramento office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. Amanda earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.A. from the University of North Florida.
Addison joins the Irvine office as a member of the Commercial Litigation and Product & General Liability practice groups. Her experience includes litigation in areas of insurance defense, general liability, premises liability and personal injury. Addison earned her J.D. from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law and her B.A. from Sonoma State University.
Katherine joins the Denver office as a member of the Insurance practice group. She focuses her practice in the areas of insurance with an emphasis on bad faith, commercial and construction litigation. She has extensive experience in all stages of litigation from inception through trial in both state and federal court. She also has a strong appellate practice. Katherine earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
Daphne joins the New Orleans office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. She joins the firm with over twenty years of experience in civil defense litigation at both the state and federal levels. She has represented a variety of corporate clients, including employers, manufacturers, premises owners, and their insurers in personal injury and property damage claims in the areas of products liability, asbestos and toxic tort, and premises liability. Daphne earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and her B.A. from Millsaps College.
Jacob joins the Pittsburgh office as a member of the Health Care practice group. His practice focuses on medical malpractice claims involving hospitals, hospital systems, physicians, and other medical personnel. Jacob earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and his B.A. from West Virginia University.
Luc joins the Seattle office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts across the country. He has experience representing clients, both as plaintiffs and defendants, in complex commercial and business litigation matters, including contract disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, post-judgment collection actions, construction defect claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and other business torts. Luc earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law and his B.S. from Florida State University.
Dianne joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Insurance practice group. She focuses on providing coverage advice to insurers on a broad range of issues involving personal and commercial property insurance policies, as well as general liability insurance. She also represents insurers in bad faith cases with an emphasis on property insurance coverage and valuation issues. Dianne earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and her B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Ashley joins the Houston office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Her engaging style and authentic presence make her an effective advocate for clients in and out of the courtroom. She is committed to achieving the best result for her clients by navigating litigation strategically and efficiently from the start. She brings sharp attention to detail and utmost preparedness to her cases, and her clients appreciate her clear communication and practical legal judgment. Holly joins the Sacramento office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. Holly earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law and her B.S. from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Malcolm joins the Alexandria office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. His commercial litigation background originated in the representation of banks, mortgage lenders, government sponsored entities, REIT’s and Substitute Trustees with respect to mortgage banking and consumer financial services litigation. He now works on a wider array of commercial litigation matters where he applies his procedural and subject matter expertise to effectively represent his current clients before Courts in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Malcolm earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond, School of Law and his B.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Marcus joins the Seattle office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He is client-driven and believes communication is the best form of practice. He has experience working in third party property claims. This includes figuring out the strategy to approaching a claim and working it through to a desired result. Marcus earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
James joins the Manchester office as a member of the Construction and Product & General Liability practice groups. James earned his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and his B.A. from Saint Anselm College.
A.J. joins the San Diego office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. He is a civil litigation attorney whose practice focuses on defending non-profit entities, public agencies, and private companies in all aspects of state and federal employment law, including claims brought under FEHA, the Labor Code, FLSA, ADA, and other common law theories of employer liability. A.J. earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and his B.A. from DePaul University.
Cynthia joins the San Diego office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She began her practice in civil litigation participating in USD’s Civil Clinic defending individuals against various civil suits and successfully negotiating settlements for clients. After graduation, her practice focused on shareholder class action litigation in merger and acquisitions. More recently, she has focused on general liability and insurance defense. Cynthia earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.S. from San Diego State University.
Christopher joins the New York office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Christopher earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University and his B.S. from Miami University.
Sinny joins the Dallas office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Sinny earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Joshua joins the Carlsbad office as a member of the Product & General Liability and Commercial Litigation practice group. He has defended major automobile manufacturers, chemical manufacturers, medical device distributors, and municipal transit providers. On the plaintiff’s side, he handled e-discovery in federal antitrust class action claims against large investment banks and pharmaceutical manufacturers. As former policy counsel, he advised the statehouse education committees of twelve states on science education legislation, resulting in the passage of legislation in two states and subsequent defense against attempts at repeal. Joshua earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and his B.A. from San Diego State University.
