Reno joins the Detroit office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Reno earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and his B.S. from Michigan State University.
Jason joins the Detroit office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. He focuses his practice on the defense of labor and employment disputes/litigation and municipal matters. His practice includes all phases of litigation regarding claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, employment hiring practices, non-compete/ non-solicit agreements, and issues involvement Michigan Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act, Title VII, ADEA, ADA, and related state and federal statutes. Jason earned his J.D. from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School and his B.A. from Kalamazoo College.
Kevin joins the Tampa office as a member of the Insurance practice group. Kevin earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and his L.L.M. from Ocean and Coastal Law.
Emily joins the Columbus office as a member of the Commercial Litigation and Insurance practice groups. Prior to joining the firm, Emily served as a judicial law clerk to Chief U.S. District Judge G. Murray Snow of the District of Arizona, and then Judge Andrew D. Hurwitz of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Emily earned her J.D. from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and her B.A. from The University of British Columbia.
Erin joins the Minneapolis office as a member of the Employment Law, Professional Liability Defense, and Commercial Litigation practice groups. She has significant experience litigating employment claims, from pre-trial motions to appearing in court and winning trials. Her practice includes representing employers of all sizes in a variety of industries, including banks, manufactures, health care providers, and higher education institutions. Erin earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and her B.A. from Boston College.
Shannon joins the New York office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Shannon earned her J.D. from the St. John's University School of Law and her B.A. from State University of New York at Geneseo.
Steven joins the New York office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Steven earned his J.D. from the Syracuse University College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Rochester.
Krys joins the Miami office as a member of the Appellate, Commercial Litigation, and Employment Law practice groups. Krys earned her J.D. from Florida State University School of Law and her B.A. from Florida State University.
Nathalie joins the Sacramento office as a member of the Employment Law and Immigration & Naturalization practice groups. She has been practicing in all areas of employment and family-based immigration law since 2004. Nathalie earned her J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and her B.A. from City University of New York.
Athena joins the Oakland office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Athena clerked for the California Supreme Court with the criminal central staff, reviewing criminal appeals. Athena earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law and her B.A. from Saint Mary's College of California.
Erik joins the New York office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Erik earned his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law and his B.A. from Saint Michael's College.
William joins the Seattle office as a member of the Construction practice group. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on construction related matters. He regularly assists clients at the outset of a construction project by reviewing, negotiating and developing contract documents to protect the clients’ interest. He also counsels his clients in preparing claims and evaluating liability when a dispute arises on a project. William earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law and his B.A. from Eastern Washington University.
Hannah joins the New York office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She has experience in cases involving discrimination and retaliation at the state, local, and city level. She has worked on matters in a variety of forums, including State and Federal Court, Arbitrations, and before administrative bodies such as the EEOC, New York State Division of Human Rights, and New York City Commission on Human Rights. Hannah earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and her B.A. from Lafayette College.
Katherine joins the Denver office as a member of the Insurance practice group. She focuses her practice in the areas of insurance with an emphasis on bad faith, commercial and construction litigation. She has extensive experience in all stages of litigation from inception through trial in both state and federal court. She also has a strong appellate practice. She has achieved outright defense verdicts and complete dismissal of matters following jury trials and successful motions for summary judgment for insurers facing significant financial exposure. Katherine earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
Tiffany joins the Los Angeles office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. Her employment litigation practice includes defending clients against claims of discrimination, failure to accommodate, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination. Prior to joining the firm, Tiffany represented employers and insurance companies in a wide range of matters, including construction law, personal injury, employment law, indemnity and coverage disputes. Tiffany earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and her B.S. from the University of Southern California.
Miguel joins the New York office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Miguel earned his J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and his B.S. from Liberty University.
Carrie joins the Sacramento office as a member of the Health Care practice group. Her background is varied and she has worked in Los Angeles as well as San Francisco. Carrie earned her J.D. from DePaul University - College of Law and her B.A. from Marquette University.
Dianne joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Insurance practice group. She focuses on providing coverage advice to insurers on a broad range of issues involving personal and commercial property insurance policies, as well as general liability insurance. She also represents insurers in bad faith cases with an emphasis on property insurance coverage and valuation issues. Dianne earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and her B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Ayana joins the Raleigh office as a member of the Health Care practice group. Her practice focuses on defending providers, hospitals, and long-term care facilities against claims of medical malpractice, as well as before professional licensing boards. She also defends professionals in a wide range of industries, including lawyers, real estate agents, and insurance agents and brokers. In addition, Ayana represents businesses, insurance companies, and their insureds in all manner of complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract claims, TCPA, FDCPA and FCRA claims, and franchise disputes. She also represents insurance companies, their insureds, businesses, and non-profit organizations in appellate matters. Ayana earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and her B.A. from North Carolina State University.
DeWayne joins the Birmingham office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. He has extensive experience representing corporate clients in state and federal court litigation, mediation and arbitration relating to business disputes and consumer claims. He also has extensive experience representing employers in a wide variety of employment litigation in both state and federal courts as well as in administrative settings before the EEOC, NLRB and Department of Labor. DeWayne earned his J.D. from Samford University Cumberland School of Law and his B.A. and B.S. from the University of South Alabama.
Daniel joins the New York office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. His practice involves litigating complex products liability and commercial actions in federal and state courts throughout the U.S. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office where he successfully prosecuted hundreds of major felony cases including attempted murders, burglaries and robberies. Daniel earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his B.A. from Brandeis University.
Yael joins the Austin office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. She is an experienced trial attorney with more than seven years' experience in insurance defense and commercial litigation. She has extensive experience conducting discovery, drafting motions, and trying cases. Her experience includes arguing and drafting motions for summary judgment, to dismiss, for discovery, to vacate, to reargue, and to renew. Yael earned her J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her B.A. from Brooklyn College.
Natalie joins the Hartford office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Natalie worked as a Judicial Law Clerk to Chief Judge William H. Bright, Jr. of the Connecticut Appellate Court and to Judge Diana L. Terry of the Colorado Court of Appeals. In that capacity, she drafted over 60 judicial opinions on a variety of legal issues. Natalie earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her B.A. from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh.
Betsy joins the Nashville office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Her experience includes a broad range of litigation, appellate practice, and alternate dispute resolution. Betsy earned her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law and her B.S. from Georgia State University.
Bo joins the Raleigh office as a member of the Professional Liability Defense practice group. He has experience in all phases of litigation from pre-suit claims through trial. Bo has nearly two decades of experience defending health care professionals, their practices, as well as hospitals and other health care facilities and their staff against claims of alleged medical malpractice. He also represents accountants, appraisers, attorneys, educators, farmers, law enforcement officers, property managers, real estate developers, realtors, and other regulated business owners and their state-licensed employees. Bo earned his J.D. from Campbell Law School and his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Katie joins the Charleston office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Prior to joining the firm, she was the career clerk for the Honorable Francie C. Riedmann on the Nebraska Court of Appeals for 10 years. There she drafted appellate opinions addressing criminal, civil, juvenile, and workers’ compensation law issues. Prior to that, Katie clerked for 2 years for the district court judges in the Fourth Judicial District Court of Nebraska, drafting trial court orders on various criminal and civil law issues. Katie earned her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law and her B.S.B.A. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Paul joins the Westchester office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He focuses his practice in the areas of general liability, construction, and automobile liability litigation. He has been a defense litigator for over 20 years and specializes in representing clients in the defense of premises liability, motor vehicle, general negligence and construction site accidents involving New York State Labor Law actions. He handles all procedural and substantive matters in the litigation process including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions and medical examinations. Paul earned his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law and his B.A. from Fordham University.
